Tapping into the wealth of expertise and research know-how of Osaka-based pharmaceuticals, Osaka City University Medical School, Osaka City Institute of Public Health and Environmental Sciences, and other leading research institutes, we intend to develop a base for future-oriented R&D on public health and preventive medicine.

Efforts will continue towards fostering next-generation IT-related industries, taking advantage of the numerous Osaka-based intelligent home appliance manufacturers and IT companies specializing in software development.
