This system provides assistance to cover a portion of costs incurred in the acquisition of land on the Sakishima Cosmosquare District.

| Qualifying businesses |
To qualify, businesses must be planning to purchase land in the Sakishima Cosmosquare District, and must have one of the following kinds of facilities.
- A facility that falls into the category of industries specially designated by the city
*1 (research and development or administrative facilities)
- A facility that falls into category *2, i.e. a lifestyle convenience facility that supports research and development
*1 Medical care and welfare, lifestyle and culture, information and communication, the environment, personnel, biotechnology, robot technology and business related to international trade
*2 "Lifestyle convenience facilities" refers to living facilities and service providers, e.g. shop facilities selling food and drinks including perishables, day-care centers, medical clinics. |
| Major conditions |
- Qualifying facilities must be planning to purchase city land in an amount of over 3,000 m2 (over 1,000 m2 for research and development facilities).
- The qualifying facility must occupy 80% or more of the floor space of the entire facility.
- The contract to purchase city land must be completed by the end of March 2009, and construction must be commenced by the end of March 2010.
- Additional
For qualifying industries (research and development facilities and administrative facilities), the following apply:
- The facility must be built and utilized by the applying business.
- The business must have five or more regular employees.
For lifestyle convenience facilities supporting research and development, the qualifying facility must be comprised of 3% or more of non-residential facilities. |

In cases where funds are also procured from the national or local governments for land acquisition costs, the amount of this subsidy will be deducted from such assistance. |
