Convenient Domestic Transportation Network Enables Day Trips to Many Destinations

From Osaka, all major Japanese cities are accessible within two hours by air. By rail, Shin-Osaka connects to major Japanese cities such as Tokyo, Nagoya and Fukuoka within one to two and a half hours. Nearly 300 trains a day run between Shin-Osaka and Tokyo on the Tokaido Shinkansen line.
The well-developed transportation network of railways (JR, private railways, subways, and monorails) and highways (Hanshin Expressway, Meishin Expressway, Chugoku Expressway) leading to Osaka ensure convenient access to major destinations in Kansai.
